NEJE All-in-One Laser Control Platform

— For Geeks & Starters Alike

What makes NEJE software distinctive is that our team has built exclusive optimizations tailored for professional LightBurn and LaserGRBL users, with key highlights as follows:

  • LightBurn Offline Control Mode: Transfer design files to the device via PC before starting fabrication. You can disconnect the USB cable afterward to free up your computer, while boosting overall operational reliability.
  • Virtual Serial Port Technology: Significantly enhances wireless connection stability and compatibility for both LightBurn and LaserGRBL.
  • Faster Data Execution: Optimized for rapid raster scanning and high-speed image engraving performance.
  • Linked Safety Mechanism: NEJE module real-time temperature monitoring syncs seamlessly with LightBurn’s control system to guarantee steady, risk-free operation throughout jobs.

We have also refined numerous subtle functional details for LightBurn and LaserGRBL, including dim light mode, silent operation, automatic workflows, motorized Z-axis compatibility, and native GRBL 1.1f firmware tuning. All these upgrades drastically boost productivity and user experience for professional creators. For new hobbyists, NEJE offers free beginner-friendly image engraving functions with zero learning barriers, letting anyone get started with laser creation effortlessly.

Note: For first-time use of LightBurn and LaserGRBL, please download the latest software versions from their respective official websites. You may purchase an activation license key for LightBurn via the links below.

One-Click Offline

Boasting LightBurn offline functionality, the NEJE control system adds built-in storage and adopts an innovative REC file transfer mechanism built on GRBL 1.1 firmware. It sends files to the machine before execution, replacing traditional real-time USB data streaming and repetitive TF card plugging. Users only need a quick command to complete file transfer and launch offline processing.

Wireless Untethered Control

Benefiting from the unique architecture combining NEJE system, NEJE firmware and GRBL firmware, the NEJE software integrates the device Bluetooth into a secure and stable virtual serial port. With this wireless transmission port, professional software including LightBurn and LaserGRBL can control the machine without being tethered by USB cables. Paired with NEJE’s offline processing capability, you can finish all workshop engraving tasks remotely while relaxing and enjoying coffee in your room.

Q&A

Can Bluetooth be used to transmit offline work data?

NEJE devices enable ultra-fast transmission of vector files (excluding high-resolution raster images that require significant bandwidth). With proprietary data-loss prevention technology, our wireless transfer is more reliable than USB connections and eliminates computer resource occupation.

The 'REC' mode operates by fully preloading files into the device before processing – a departure from LightBurn's real-time data streaming. This approach not only frees up computer resources but also ensures unmatched reliability by eliminating USB transfer instability.

How to customize the focus brightness for low-light positioning?

Low-Light Positioning Adjust the suitable low light through the software. The NEJE mode can be adjusted in the “Settings” column of the NEJE Win software; the GRBL mode can be adjusted in the “Grbl Configuration” of the laserGRBL software, which has been explained above.

Put a gray cardboard on the surface of the white material (such as plywood) as a focus reference to find the precise focus. A fine focal point can be observed through the protective goggles or the shade of the module.

Is it necessary to work with the connection bridge for offline work?

The NEJE Bridge function enables wireless and stable connectivity between LightBurn/laserGRBL and NEJE devices. After files are transferred to the device via LightBurn/laserGRBL's "REC" mode, users can:

Disconnect Bridge (optional):
Use the device's multifunction button to start jobs directly.

Keep Bridge Connected (alternative):
Maintain software control for positioning and job initiation.

Note: No active data transmission occurs during job execution.

Users may close the computer or disconnect after job initiation.

USB Connection Workflow:
When using USB, jobs can be initiated immediately after "REC" completes file transfer – the computer and USB cable can then be safely disconnected.

Differences in Emergency Stop Button Definitions Between laserGRBL and LightBurn Software

Pressing the emergency stop button pauses the ongoing operation.Resuming work requires clicking the software's resume command after releasing the button.

For LightBurn software:
The emergency stop definition does not follow standard GRBL protocol. When controlling devices via USB real-time data streaming (LightBurn's default mode), pressing the emergency stop button immediately terminates the current project.Partially completed work cannot be resumed – this behavior differs significantly from LaserGRBL/NEJE's pause-and-resume logic.
Critical Note:
Users must distinguish between these two emergency stop implementations to avoid unintended workflow interruptions.
