I would like to know if there are any upgrades I can do or do you suggest just repurchasing the A40640. My machine is 2s max machine.

I recommend repurchasing the A40640 laser module. The E80 24W, 4W IR, or E160 50W 8-FAC are heavier-duty modules best paired with the high-rigidity Max 4 V2 platform.
