The NEJE E160 shatters the limits of diode laser technology. By harnessating our exclusive 8-FAC+ optical system, it overcomes the diffraction limit to deliver true 300 DPI clarity. Unlike traditional fiber-coupled 60W or 120W modules that are bulky and asymmetrical, the E160 produces a symmetrical beam with 1/4 the spot size while maintaining extreme power density. Integrating eight 7W 450nm diodes, it generates a staggering 6 million kW/m²—roughly 60 times the density of standard industrial lasers and 100 times the intensity of the sun’s surface. This extreme energy ionizes materials into plasma in microseconds, achieving unmatched efficiency.
Weighing just 500g+, the E160’s ultra-light design minimizes motion inertia, ensuring zero image distortion during high-speed engraving and cutting. Its fully sealed, maintenance-free construction is immune to smoke and debris, protecting the optics and cooling system from the corrosive effects of cutting fumes—guaranteeing long-term reliability. With a 3.2m tangle-free cable, 3A low-current integrated design, and universal compatibility (Mach3, CNC Routers, GRBL systems), the E160 is built for seamless integration. Coupled with a water-cooling system and LightBurn-linked over-temperature protection, it offers a silent, stable, and safe experience for unleashing your ultimate creative potential.

5 Core Advantages of the NEJE E160

1. 【8-FAC+ Tech: Smaller Spot, Sharper Results】
Our exclusive 8-FAC+ optical system breaks the diffraction limit. Compared to traditional 60W/120W fiber-coupled modules, the E160 produces a symmetrical beam with only 1/4 the spot size. This translates to cleaner cutting edges and faster cutting speeds, while also enabling high-speed, high-clarity image engraving—a task impossible for standard high-power modules.
2. 【Ultra-Light 500g+ Design】
At just over 500 grams, the E160 dramatically reduces motion inertia. This ensures zero image distortion during high-speed scanning and cutting, maintaining perfect accuracy even on intricate designs. It is the ideal module for high-speed, precision-demanding workflows.
3. 【Fully Sealed & Fume-Proof】
Unlike open-frame modules, the E160 is fully sealed against smoke, dust, and debris. This prevents cutting fumes from coating the optics or clogging the cooling system—common killers of laser lifespan. It ensures consistent performance and extended service life in harsh environments.
4. 【Extreme Energy Density】
By integrating eight 7W 450nm diodes, the E160 achieves a 6 million kW/m² energy density. This massive power ionizes materials into plasma in microseconds, delivering 60x the density of industrial lasers and 100x solar intensity. Experience unmatched cutting and engraving efficiency.
5. 【Smart, Safe & Universal】
Features a 3.2m industrial-grade cable, 3A low-current integrated design for safety, and universal compatibility with Mach3, CNC Routers, and GRBL systems. The water-cooling system and LightBurn-linked over-temperature protection ensure silent, stable, and reliable operation for extended periods.

I have been looking at this product on your website, but I cannot find information regarding its ideal operating temperature. Considering that the unit is water-cooled and there is no information on whether the water cooling system is active or passive, one must account for the ambient temperature of the operating environment to determine if the cooling will be effective. This is a highly important factor for anyone doing photo engravings that can take several hours.

It has been known for some time that you have been working on this model, but so far, little to no information has been made available regarding whether the product will actually be commercialized. Based on this video, what leads us to believe that the product launch will proceed? And what is the reason for so many delays? Have there been any issues with these modules?

Thank you for raising this question, and I also want to sincerely apologize to NEJE fans for making you wait so long. But I want you to know that the NEJE R&D team has never stopped developing new things—it's just that I believe a great product requires constant reinvention and the test of time. To answer your question properly, I need to address it from multiple angles: optical system design and selection, process complexity, chip reliability, lifespan engineering, why extreme lightweighting was essential, and why water cooling was non-negotiable. This is not a quick marketing stunt to grab eyeballs, but the crystallization of years of dedicated work.

Regarding the optical system design: for high-power 450 nm diode modules, the optical system is the most critical component—it determines the output beam quality. NEJE has consistently insisted on pushing laser output quality to the limit, which is why we chose the most costly, complex, and difficult-to-manufacture solution: FAC + multi-stage composite lens system.
Very few professional consumers ever dig into the optical system. Other brands, rushing to market, opt for solutions where beam quality and lifespan are invisible to the naked eye—quick mass-production designs like fiber compression + reflection or the unreliable COB approach. Fiber compression and COB are cheap and simple to produce, but the beam quality is poor. A standard 20W fiber-compressed module can easily ignite wood; imagine the risks at higher powers.
Beyond safety, how does our system differ from ordinary fiber-compressed reflective modules in real-world performance?
First, XY focal spot symmetry: Our system achieves near-perfect XY symmetry with a 90-micron spot, while typical fiber modules exceed 200 microns with severe asymmetry. That's why you never see manufacturers showcasing fine-detail tests with high-power modules—their optics can't deliver.
What does fine detail actually mean?
Smaller proportional text engraving
Photo resolution and clarity
Narrower kerf width
Symmetrical cuts regardless of direction
Hard-material cutting capability (HDF, MDF)
Faster cutting speeds (higher energy density = less material removal per pass = greater speed)
Verticality in thick-material cutting
Broader material compatibility (e.g., steel, stainless steel engraving)
These details are precisely where optical system differences manifest. Designing such a complex optical system requires relentless iteration and refinement—that's why we took longer.

it looks like the future. the design is elegant. I am using a compressor + filter with my E80. do i understand correctly that i must upgrade to a pro oil separator to protect the lens on this new design? I don't see a secondary feed to send an air shield over the lens...

Hi Jonathan,If your current oil-water filter has been working fine with the E80 module, you can continue using it with the E160—no upgrade required. We only added this note because some very cheap filters on the market don't actually provide effective oil-water separation. Just a heads-up.
